The Fearless Terastal set for China has been announced, featuring the exclusive Teracristal evolution of Arcanine ex!
The upcoming Chinese set for Scarlet and Violet will be called “Fearless Terastal,” and it’s scheduled for release on May 16th. The set was revealed at the 2025 Pokémon Guangzhou Masters Tournament, which was streamed online.
Arcanine ex will feature a new Special Illustration Rare, which has not been made available anywhere else globally. It’s probable that this artwork was created specifically for this set, similar to past alternative illustrations from China. It’s certain that it will stay exclusive to China.
Fearless Terastal is the third major Scarlet and Violet set for China. The cards revealed so far are from Scarlet and Violet up to Paldea Evolutions, but it’s likely that the set will include cards up to Obsidian Flames, similar to their last two sets.
China has been releasing sets since 2022 to realign with the rest of the world. They started with Sun and Moon. Their cards are printed in simplified Chinese, while Taiwan and Hong Kong receive traditional Chinese.
